Drama As Fani-Kayode ‘Reveals’ Who Killed Abiola (MKO) With Tea in 1998 (Video)



Femi Fani-Kayode, a former Minister of Aviation, has said Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola, acclaimed winner of the 1993 presidential election was murdered.
He said this while speaking on the incidents that trailed the election and subsequent imprisionment of Abiola.
Abiola, who was incarcerated after declaring himself president, died in custody on July 7, 1998 in Abuja, the nation’s capital.

Ghanaian-Canadian Man Arrested For Selling Packaged Rice As iPhone



A Canadian man of Ghanaian origin has been arrested for defrauding two clients by selling packaged rice to them as an iPhone.
Andrew Boateng Gyimah was arrested in Toronto, Canada after police received reports of his scam from two individuals. According to Canadian authorities, Andrew met up with one of his victims in an area of Islington Avenue after the victim had seen an advert he put online.

21-year-old stunning Maldivian model and medical student who appeared on Vogue commits suicide



Raudthif Athif, a 21-year-old international model and medical student from Maldives, who appeared on the cover of Vogue magazine was found dead in a hostel dormitory in Bangladesh on Wednesday, March 29th.
Athif became an internet sensation in the Maldives in 2014 after she posted a shoot online called the "Maldivian Girl With Aqua Blue Eyes"...

Hostel Application: Students complain over school fee print out as they are unable to view their present level



In reference to the announcement of the manual hostel application which is to commence on the 6th October,  and the provision for students to pay their school fee in other to apply for such hostel accommodation has lead to complain by students as they were unable to view their present level after their school fee slip was printed.  

In light of this, the school administration has promise to rectify such problem, beseeching students to check online next week, starting from Monday, 10th, October.

Excessive Intake Of Food Seasoning Can Damage Human B.rain – Expert



A medical practitioner, Dr. Festus Olalekan of the Graceland Hospital, Ilorin, Kwara State, has warned against excessive consumption of food seasoning, saying it can damage the B.rain.
Olalekan told newsmen on Thursday in Ilorin that most of the food seasoning contained Monosodium Glutamate, which poses serious health damage.

BREAKING News: INEC Declares Godwin Obaseki Winner Of Edo Governorship Election



The Independent National Elect0ral Commission has declared All Progressives Congress candidate, Mr Godwin Obaseki, as the winner of the Edo State governorship election which held on Wednesday, September 28.

The announcement was made after the collation of results from the 18 local government areas of Edo State in south-south Nigeria, candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) polled a total of 319,483 votes while his closest rival from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP),

University Of Benin Notice On 2016/2017 2nd Batch Physical Screening Exercise.



Aspirants of University of Benin (UNIBEN) for the 2016/2017 session are hereby informed that the date for second batch of face to face screening will be available in their application records as from Saturday 24th September 2016 and no longer 26th September as earlier announced.

IMPORTANT: Notice to Candidate who are not Eligible for the Admission Screening



In reference to the opportunity for candidates who did not meet up to the university's admission benchmark/cut-off marks hence was unable to upload his/her SSCE data. In light of the new opportunity few things are to be noted in other to re-apply for the supplementary admission screening.
Here are some few things to note.

The Supplementary application screening is open to new and existing candidates.

UNIBEN Extends JUPEB Admission Registration/ Screening Exam Date 2016/2017



This is to inform the public that the deadline for the registration of the University of Benin (UNIBEN) JUPEB Pre- Degree (Foundation) Studies Admission for 2016/2017 has been extended.
The new registration deadline is 26th, September, 2016.

Similarly, the entrance examination which was earlier scheduled to hold on 24th, September, 2016 will now hold on 7th, October, 2016.

JAMB Lists Fresh 8 Conditions Universities Must Stick To In Admitting Students



Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, Ishaq Oloyede on Friday said the agency will ensure candidates are not mistreated by their preferred universities. He also listed eight conditions that tertiary institutions must follow when admitting students. Mr. Oloyede spoke at Baze University, Jabi, Abuja at the first Extraordinary Technical Committee meeting on 2016 Admissions to First Choice Institutions.

 After much confirmation from reliable source, it’s with no doubt that the school resumption date has been proponed to 7th October, 2016.
 Following the outcome of the senate meeting held 9th September, 2016 as a result of the shift in the date of Gubernatorial election; Students are needed to vote in the Governorship elections.

Edo Election: WAEC refuse to postpone examination, plans to relocate affected candidates



The West African Examination Council (WAEC) on Tuesday said it has reserved examination centres in Agbor, Delta state and Ore in Ondo state for candidates writing the General Certificate Examination (GCE) on Saturday, September 10 in Edo state.

It will be recalled that Edo state governorship election is expected to hold on the same day secondary schools students in the state are expected to sit for their mathematics paper.
