The Federal Government has sacked the Vice Chancellors of thirteen Federal Universities established by the Goodluck administration, sparking protests.
Affected by the sack is the Vice Chancellor of the National Open University of Federal Republic of Nigeria, Prof. Vincent Tenebe.
This was announced during a statement that was created on the market to journalists by the Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu in Abuja, on Saturday.
The statement merely aforementioned President Muhammadu Buhari had approved the appointment of latest Vice Chancellors for the colleges and no any reason was given for the action.

The lecturer within the Department of Pharmacy, ABU, Zaria, Prof. Magaji Garba, can currently be VC in Federal University, Gusau, Zamfara State.
