Naira Falls To N385 Per Dollar In Parallel Market
The naira on Wednesday depreciated any to associate new N385 to a greenback within the parallel market.
The currency decline, according market observers, is attributable to soaring demand for interchange.
Already, the naira has depreciated by N60 against the greenback in the week within the parallel market, compared with the closing rate of exchangeof N325 per greenback weekday last week.
The currency, however, remained stable at the official interbank interchange market because the interbank rate closed N199.34.
The Nigerian monetary unit has been on steady decline since weekday January twelfth 2016, once the financial organization of African country (CBN) stopped weekly greenback sale to BDCs.
