In line with the rumor about the release of Uniben first batch admission list and the controversies it has caused, this is to notify us
that UNIBEN has NOT released any admission list, and the management has NOT
said a thing officially as regard admission screening exercise...
To make it clearer
again, please let us reject any info contrary to an adequate and a verified
news from the management. Any development as regard UNIBEN 2016/2017 admission
screening exercise would be related to us all via this platform and UNIBEN
website.

The date
August 15th was a anticipated date for newly admitted students to come
into the University for their clearance, though the date has not yet
changed since no new academic calendar has been brought forth by the
school administration.
The simple logic here is that, if the Screening test (CBT)
which was held at various centers in the University of Benin was successfully concluded,
by now a lot of you must be gained admission into UNIBEN. But as it is now, the
screening test was called off. Candidates must first be given admission prior
to school clearance.
Jamb has previously withdraw-ed the list of
candidates sent to Uniben for admission.
In a declaration which was signed by the Head of Media, Dr.
Fabian Benjamin, affirmed that the reason for the withdrawal is to guarantee
that the university senate carry out its statutory responsibility of selecting
candidates and referring them to JAMB for verification in line with the
admission criteria (merit, catchment and educationally disadvantaged states
(ELDs) as stipulated by the Minister of Education Mallam Adamu Adamu. Mean
while, the school has not decided on the model they are to use for giving admission
to students.
